7,000MW breached as Delhi sweats

Delhi’s power consumption on Tuesday breached the 7,000MW mark for the first time. At 3.26pm, the state load dispatch centre recorded Delhi’s peak power demand at 7,016 MW. This season has already seen multiple new highs with the demand being 6-8% higher than last year.
