Delhi cabinet okays 1,000 electric buses

From June next year, Delhiites will be able to travel in air-conditioned and low-floor electric-run buses. The Delhi cabinet, in a meeting chaired by chief minister Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday, gave its approval for engaging 1,000 electric-run buses and appointed Delhi Integrated Multi-Modal Transit System (DIMTS) as the project consultant.
